Since its inception in September 1998, the Association of Blood Donation Volunteers , "Association des bénévoles du don de sang" has represented blood donors and volunteers from all over Quebec.
The ABDV, is an important link in Quebec's new blood management system.

The Association represents those, like you, who form the very foundation of the transfusion process: blood donors.
The Association is represented on Héma-Québec's board of directors.
With 10 regional chapters, the Association is active throughout Quebec and organize local, regional and provincewide activities.
A provincial board oversees promotion, development and volunteer recruitment activities in all areas.
The Association is a member of the International Federation of Blood Donor Organizations.
